1. Sometime around 2003 founding member of Federation Sound, Cipha Sounds, was working as an A&R for The Neptunes’ Star Trak label. He called Max Glazer and excitedly told him how they had just signed the legendary Super Cat and shortly thereafter this mix was created as a look back at some of the Don Dada’s career highlights as well as a sneak peek at what was to come. Well, as we all know, no album was ever released but The Original Heartical Don Dada has become a collector’s item that was almost impossible to find until our friends at @Largeupdotcom posted it online around this time last year. Here it is again, as we celebrate 15 years of Federation Sound.
